To mark His Majesty The King’s coronation thousands of organisations across the country are getting together to give us all the chance to help out in our own local communities. Here at St John’s, the Churchyard Working Party would like to invite you to explore our beautiful churchyard and consider giving some time over the coming year to help maintain it.
Members of the group will be present in the church and churchyard between 2 and 4pm on Monday 8 May to talk about plans for the future and practical ways in which you could help.
Free refreshments will be available, and we will have some quizzes and activities available, suitable for children and adults. There will also be a stall selling a range of plants, with the proceeds going to the churchyard fund. Everyone is welcome and we look hope you will be able to join us for this very special event on a wonderful and historic weekend.
